Women of Vision and
Purpose (WVP) is a 501 (c)3 organization committed to helping
hurting women to overcome life's obstacles and pursue their destiny. Our
mission is to help women, who have been victimized by abuse, to move beyond
victimization to vision and from pain to purpose, through education,
advocacy, and support.
Our vision is to establish collaborations
between women of various backgrounds in order to create a unique support
system of women who can bring hope to each other, while also creating a
stimulating environment for learning and exchanging new ideas. Our purpose
is to create new opportunities for mentorship for women of all ages in order
to inspire women to focus on creative ways to achieve their goals while
assisting and giving service to others along the way.
Our Vision and Purpose is to…
Provide an outreach service to women who
are in need of support by holding monthly meetings which have a warm
and inviting atmosphere for open and honest dialogue.
Challenge each woman to set personal
goals and pursue their passion, while providing an opportunity for
collaboration and mentorship.
Be an advocate for better opportunities
and services for all women, especially those who have suffered abuse.
